you will be responsible to the Head, Core Applications Section.
The main responsibilities include:
 Acting as a project manager or a senior technical analyst for the design, implementation,
customization and maintenance of changes to existing or new Agency software
applications;
 Conducting studies and making written and oral presentations or proposals for new, or
changes to existing systems and applications.
 Collecting and documenting user requirements, detailed system and programme
specifications;
 Supervising or assisting in supervising the development and maintenance team staff
members for the applications to which assigned, including developing project schedules,
making assignments, providing guidance, reviewing and reporting the work of project
staff;
 Coordinating user and IMD activities with regard to installation and maintenance of
systems;
 Establishing and enforcing standards for controlling production and quality levels;
 Preparing instruction manuals and other documentation for the systems and applications
to which assigned;
 Developing training plans for users of the applications to which assigned.
Additional information
The incumbent may be required to travel in the Agency’s area of operations.
Conditions of service
Option One: Fixed Term Appointment, Grade 16
Monthly basic salary JD 1028.90 plus special occupation allowance of 50.82% of the
basic salary. Other benefits include monthly Provident Fund contribution (15% of basic
salary paid by the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and
dependency allowance (if applicable).
Option Two: Limited Duration Contract (LDC- Band G)
Monthly basic salary JD 1440.40 depending on the professional knowledge and experience.
Other benefits include compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave pre-rated to the
duration of the contract where less than one year, and family allowance (if applicable).
To qualify for this position, you will need:
Education A university degree from an accredited educational institution in computer
science, business administration with a major in or focus on information
technology or other related discipline, and Formal training in systems
development tools and techniques;
Work
experience
Six years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in the area
of information systems applications development and implementation,
including three years at a senior level leading systems development and
implementation effort, one year of which must be in web applications
development and implementation using ASP.Net and MS SQL Server;
specific business experience might be required depending on the
placement of the post and the functional area required;
Language(s) Very good command of spoken and written English.

The main responsibilities include:
 Participating in the administration of day-to-day operation of HQ Amman recruitment
services and activities:
 Reviewing HQ Amman vacancy advertisements (VAs) to ensure compliance with the

 In coordination with the hiring offices, preparing technical tests and monitoring the
screening of applications against established criteria, raising discrepancies with the
