Job Description and Requirements
Job background:
The purpose of this job is to hire a Drama teacher for the Primary Years Program.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The main role of the Drama Teacher is based on teaching the primary school students according to the International Baccalaureate curriculum. The following bullets briefly explain main duties and responsibilities of the job that are not limited to:
- Creating appropriate learning engagements and opportunities for all students.
- Motivating students to perform at their best through differentiated instruction and a variety of learning styles.
- Monitoring students’ performance to enhance their understanding and master skills.
- Communicating regularly and constructively with students and parents.
- Using teaching methods that engage students and stimulate intellectual curiosity through effective questioning, presentation and resources.
- Establishing and maintaining a good standard of behavior management through well focused teaching and positive and productive relationships.
- Any other duties assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- University degree in Theater Arts or Communication Arts.
- 0-4 years of experience in teaching
- Fluency in English language is a must.
- PYP experience is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast paced and flexible environment.
- Presentation skills and ability to speak in public in confidence.
- Excellent planning, coordinating, organizing and analyzing abilities are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with teachers at all levels in a multicultural environment.
