Communication, Marketing & Branding Officer

Purpose of Role:
Managing and overseeing overall Marketing and strategic planning of campaigns, and Marketing communications.  Facilitate client procurement development through both online and offline Marketing and client services programs.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for HMJ. Support and facilitate development and implementation of section campaigns/marketing plans.
  2. Plan and administer HMJ’s Marketing operations budget; support development of regional offices marketing budgets.
  3. Establish HMJ’s Marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives.
  4. Manage correspondence with 3rd party advertising agencies and media agencies on Marketing communication materials and offline campaign rollout.
  5. Liaise directly with relevant HMJ’s heads of desks, directors, board members, managers and staff to comply with desired requirements from departmental procedures both internally and externally.
  6. Oversee HMJ’s offline and online Marketing efforts including supervision of Web site design and maintenance.
  7. Manage search agency relationship, oversee ad copy creation, guide keyword expansion, drive testing and optimisation, track performance of PPC advertising.
  8. Ensure all campaigns/tactics are track-able.
  9. Lead creative development, create test schema (creative, offers, formats, landing pages, etc.), track performance for display advertising and email campaigns.
  10. Plan and optimise to achieve open rate, CTR, conversion rate, gross add and cost per lead KPIs.
  11. Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
  12. Oversee development and administration of CRM database which includes client and prospect information, mailing list applications, access to lead reports, etc.
  13. Lead and support HMJ’s involvement in various industry networks including coordinating Marketing activities via these relationships, 3rd party sponsorship and endorsement as well as brokering contractual agreements.
  14. Supervise HMJ’s Marketing protocol processes including client procurement from desirable prospective sources and writing proposals for new lead acquisition; participate in planning and presentation sessions, when assigned.
  15. Provide weekly reports on performance; analyse data, present findings to Directors and make recommendations for future tests, campaigns, efficiency improvements, and media optimisation.
  16. Supervise daily activities and employee skills development of all Marketing personnel. Make recommendations for staffing and hiring decisions within the Marketing department.
  17. Oversee structuring of Marketing practices and project management within HMJ.
