Job Announcement 

Logistics Assistant
Jordan Paramedic Society is as local, not-for-profit, NGO founded in Jordan in 2012 on the basis of serving, supporting, and motivating the
surrounding community and the MENA region. 
JPS aims to provide high quality healthcare to the
disadvantaged and the vulnerable as well as spread
awareness on healthy living and disease prevention.

To qualify for this position, you will need:

ROLE SUMMARY
The Logistics Assistant shall be responsible for specific tasks related to receiving, storing and distributing materials and accounting for materials/supplies.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive materials and supplies, store them in assigned locations and distribute them according to JPS procedures
Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing materials
Supervise packing, loading and unloading of all materials
Informs suppliers on short supplies and ensures all over/wrongly consigned goods are returned to suppliers.
Ensure availability of storage space and maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse at all times
Ensure safety and security of materials
Ensure that only authorized staff are allowed to enter the warehouse and receive supplies or materials
Maintains an up-to-date electronic record of all correspondence related to purchase orders, requisitions and Good Received Notes (GRN) and records.
Prepare periodic stock reports and assist in carrying out periodic physical inventory checks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineer/Management, Logistics or Equivalent in related field.
Minimum 1-year relevant work experience; Experience in the NGOs Field will be an advantage.
Effectively applies specialized knowledge of logistics and procurement to timely source goods and services.
Drives JPS vehicles in a safe manner consistent with local regulations.
English and Arabic Required Competencies Accountability

Identifies and monitors changes in the needs of clients, including donors, governments, and project beneficiaries
