Job purpose and organizational context:
The HR Business Partner position is responsible for supporting business objectives with employees and
management in designated business units. Overall responsible of the development of actual and future leaders in
the entity for the benefit of the Technip as a Group. Ensure correct and timely implementation of HR strategies and
policies. Guarantee the compliance with all legal requirements in terms of Labor law, Taxation and Social Security.
Reporting line:
• Reports to Head HR, Communication & General Services
Directly Supervises:
• n/a
Key Interactions (internally, externally):
• Internally: Interacts with all entity managers and staff, but mainly Engineering, Project Management and
EPC; as well as, other disciplines such as PRO, Medical and General services. Interacts with regional
functional experts for talent management, international mobility, L&D, HRIS and C&B.
• Externally: mainly with applicants
Main Accountabilities:
Business support
• Act as a counselor and single point of contact for the employees and managers for all HR related matters
to the business area in her/his scope
• Builds a deep understanding of and strong relationship with the business units and their key staff
• Supports change management initiatives
Talent management
• Defines individual plans and career paths, with the aim of developing and increasing the talent within the
business unit
• Leads talent campaigns such as Performance Management, People Review, Succession planning and Job
classification
• Identifies and supports staff for international mobility assignments
• Performs career talks
Learning development
• Liaises with L&D to define focused actions and programs to ensure competency growth within the business
unit
Recruitment
• Collaborates with Recruitment and Line managers to ensure vacancies are closed within set timelines and
diversity targets are met
• Participates in the selection process as required (interviews, assessments, reference checks)
• Supports the creation of internship and graduate programs
C&B
• Drives the yearly salary review and bonus campaigns
• Analyzes promotion needs and proposes suitable compensation packages
Profile:
Must have
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the position or relevant
• Excellent English Communication skills
• Ethical Practice
• Global & Cultural Awareness
• Solid Relationship Management
• Knowledge of local labor law
Nice to have
• Knowledge of psychometric testing
• Arabic communication skills
