The main qualifications required for the job are:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope of Work:
Provision of PHC services:
  • Take basic parameters and perform triage of patients and fill in patient medical records: weight, height, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, etc
  • Perform medical procedure according to doctor prescription: dressing, injection, nebulizer, etc
  • Assist/perform diagnostic test such as ECG, Hb, blood glucose, urine test, pregnancy test, and any other rapid diagnostic test available in the clinic
  • Provide health education about patient’s current health conditions and health in general
  • Ensure patient understanding about drug regimen, health condition and follow up visit
  • Maintain examination room in order an ensure full supply needed for services provision
Administrative:
  • Assist doctor in filling patient’s medical records for each patient visit
  • Assist doctor on prescription of drug, filling referral form for any referral case outside of clinic
  • Assist in filling and maintaining clinic records as required on timely and accurate manner
  • Assist in integration of clinic services and promote best quality standards for clients
  • Assist with organizing patients flow in the clinic
Training:
  • Participate in medical and management trainings as determine by IMC 
  • Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical areas
Others:
  • Ensure integration of clinic services and promote best quality standards for clients
  • Assist with additional tasks as determined to be needed by supervisors
Qualifications Required:
  • BCs in Nursing. 
  • Minimum one-year experience.
  • NGOs experience is preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scope of work
  Provision of PHC services:
  1. Preventive
    • Medical checkup
    • Family Planning Counseling
    • Child growth monitoring and immunization status
    • Health education provision and increase people awareness about their current health conditions and health promotion in general
  2. Curative
    • Medical consultation including family, medical history and full physical examination
    • Management of chronic conditions & NCDs patients.
    • Management of Acute cases.
    • Prescription of drugs according to national/international standard treatment protocol
  3. Referral
    • Referral to secondary and tertiary care as needed
    • Referral to Basic Rapid Diagnostic test (clinic nurse)
    • Referral to clinic obstetrician-gynecologist
    • Referral to clinic health educator
Administrative:
  • Fill patient clinical record file for each patient visit
  • Prescribe drug on clinic prescription form
  • Fill referral form for any referral case outside of clinic
Technical Assistance (TA):
  • Provide TA in development of health education material and health promotion campaign as necessary
  • Assist in development of Health Education Plan as necessary
  • Provide advice on drug and medical supply order in coordination with clinic pharmacist
Training:
  • Participate in medical and management trainings as determine by IMC senior management. 
  • Continue self-education to adhere with national/international standards and new.
  • advancements in the field of general practice and other relevant medical areas.
Qualifications Required:
  • BCs in Medicine.
  • Part one board in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • 1- 4 years’ experience in Family medicine or internal medicine.
  • NGOs experience is preferable

4- Referral Doctor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scope of Work:
  • Supervision of referral team schedules and coordination, including schedules of referral officers, paramedics and ambulance drivers to ensure smooth service provision and optimum utilization of working hours.
  • To provide medical consultation for patients referred by hospital ER and PHC clinics.
  • Review all referred cases to determine complete documentation, accuracy of the differential diagnosis and take most appropriate and timely recommendation and actions.
  • Review and indicate the need for referral for all elective cases.
  • Ensure that documentation (proper referral form, and laboratory investigations) are transmitted to the outside referral center.
  • Improvement of referral team records, and to establish and supervise the filing system and archives.
  • Be the lead and responsible person to communicate with JHAS referral hub and if necessary with the external hospitals.
  • Ensure follow up of referred cases in the referral facility as well as on medication, appointment and further required follow up.
  • Follow on the feedback of referred cases and ensure that the feedback is communicated properly with the patient or attending physician.
  • Guide and supervise the referral officers on priority setting, management of resources including the ambulances.
  • In collaboration with paramedics’ focal point to ensure standardized medical escort, observation during transportation and proper documentation.
  • Follow ECC pending cases and lead any request for prioritization and advocacy.
  • Provide on job training to medical and referral staff.
  • Supervise reporting of IMC referral activities/statistics and analysis of trends.
  • Prepare the monthly narrative report of activity.
  • Evaluate patients during clinical hours, to determine diagnosis and plan of treatment to be followed by GPs.
  • To provide proper patient counselling and management of expectations for the denied cases.
  • To act as the ultimate focal point for referral team including representation in all coordination and health meetings.
  • To lead a monthly referral meeting to discuss challenges and new proposed ideas, and provide MoMs.
  • To be active member on the monthly morbidity and mortality meeting ( + present interesting cases).
  • To support medical team in day-to-day activities, in areas of specialty such as chronic patients, ER
Qualifications Required:
  • Board eligible Internal medicine or Family medicine doctor.
  • License to practice in Jordan issued by Ministry of health.
  • NGOs experience is preferable.
  • Essential computer literacy (outlook, word and excel).
  • Good English writing

5- Neurologist

Job Description
Job Title:       Neurologist 
Report to:      MHPSS Coordinator
Location:       Amman and Field

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • According to the program schedule, the Neurologist will provide his services in IMC supported mental health clinics (15 urbans and 4 in camps).
  • The Neurologist will attend or review to cases with neurological symptoms or disorder across all IMC mental health clinics, based on need for proper follow up or newly identified concern.
  • The Neurologist will strictly comply with the professional ethics and principles as well as clinical standards of Health and Mental Health practice under Jordanian and International Standards established by WHO and MoH.
  • Medication treatment will only be delivered if the patient is present for the appointment.
  • Ensure diagnosis and treatment regiments are consistent with ICD 11 and DSM-V criteria.
  • Provide clinically appropriate follow-up for neurological patients as required based on the nature and severity of individual patients’ issues.
  • Record all cases seen in the log books during each clinic session and ensure timely completion of documentation
  • Contribute to the multidisciplinary team, including active participation in case conferences
  • Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and quality assurance measures.
  • Ensure proper and accurate recording of prescription and dispensing of drugs in the log book, the daily medication dispensing record and in individual drug stock cards for each clinic session.
  • Contribute to the ongoing training and continuing education of case management team.
  • Support the case management team in monitoring and following up with patients in emergency cases.
  • Participate in clinical case conferences as needed, with the mental health/case management team.
  • Comply with clinic hours and notify senior IMC staff of absence or tardiness.
  • Assist in the facilitation of inpatient admissions as a last resort when clinically indicated.

Qualifications:
  • Jordanian board of doctors
  • Licensed
