Field Researcher
Background:
Intisars Foundation is a charity foundation based in London that provides psychosocial
support for refugee and vulnerable women in Lebanon and beyond. HRH Sheikha
Intisar AlSabah launched Intisars Foundation in late 2017 in an effort to give war
affected women the much needed love and care refugees often lack. Intisars
Foundation has championed mental-health care through Drama Psychotherapy and is
currently expanding its reach.
Job Description:
Intisars Foundation is looking to hire a dynamic, proactive and dedicated researcher to
follow through with our Jordan based activities. This job will require field visits to attend
the full sessions held under Intisars Foundation’s Drama Psychotherapy programs in
Jordan. Other responsibilities involve reporting on the sessions, maintaining contact
between Intisars Foundation affiliates and all consultants in Jordan. Seeing as Intisars
Foundation does not currently have an office in Jordan, all off-field work will be done
primarily from home. This
Primary responsibilities :
-Helping in organizing new projects, coordinating logistics, setting goals and helping in
tools used in therapy.
-Maintaining said goals through continued communication between Intisars foundation
members and organizations in Jordan.
-Ensuring a common vision between Intisars Foundation members and organizations
and therapists on the field in Jordan.
-Monitoring all activities related to Intisars Foundation in Jordan to ensure their ethical
guidelines are not infringed upon.
-Prioritizing the well-being and safety of beneficiaries, reporting any possible unfair
practices.
-Attending all meetings, therapy sessions and related events within Jordan.
-Documenting tools, events and activities during therapy sessions.
-Producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the field work happening.
-Creating and maintaining a database for relevant statistical information and analysis. .
-Monitoring and maintaining all projects handled within Jordan.
-Ensuring proper and clear communication between the foundation’s members and any
persons of interest in Jordan.
-Utilizing all tools, experience and knowledge at disposal to provide any necessary input
to all involved parties.
Academic Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in psychology or related fields.
Experience:
- 1 year plus.
Skills:
- Excellent computer skills (MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, All Social Media Platforms).
- Writing and comprehension in English and Arabic.
Competencies:
- well-spoken and communicative.
- Well-versed in the refugee crisis in Jordan.
