1- ZAIN6702 - Projects Implementation Civil Engineer Team Member

WHAT

Expanding Zain’s network infrastructure through planning and supervising construction projects, including locations identification and evaluation, project execution and control, auditing contractor’s performance, and handing-over sites after projects completion while preparing progress reports, in addition to ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

HOW

You will be responsible for :-
  • Supervising site surveys/ studies, which are conducted to assess locations ability to execute infrastructure projects and determine the location requirement and initial design while identifying difficulties that may arise during implementation and subsequently suggesting solutions to overcome such.
  • Providing assistant in executing and managing different infrastructure construction projects; through tracking project activities, progress, milestones and outcomes, as well as updating the master sheet and providing management with required reports, in order to complete projects successfully and within set timeframe.
  • Participating in contracts establishment with subcontractors to implement various network infrastructure projects, through handling the technical portions of such agreements; ensuring alignment with Zain’s standards.
  • Tracking, controlling and auditing progress and performance of subcontractors to ensure compliance with set Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 
  • Supporting project related procurement activities, through accurately estimating and providing required material and equipment, to ensure efficient utilization of resources and proper completion of projects. 
  • Supervising lab testing and inspecting of sample materials used in construction, carrying-out required calculation and analysis on the test results, while preparing related reports; to ensure their safety, capability and compliance with set standards and specification. 
  • Ensuring safe and proper work environment through supervising working areas, enforcing safety policies and procedures and ensuring usage of safety equipment, in order to minimize/ avoid risk and accidents. 
  • Providing assistant to other teams such as RAN and Power in planning the construction of network infrastructure of Wireless Communication Facilities and Fiber Optics lines. 
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years of actual experience in the implementation of cell sites self-supporting towers and infrastructure networks projects.

2-  ZAIN6697 - Finance Manager (Zain Cash)

WHAT


We’re looking for an experienced, innovative and FINTECH passionate head of finance that will drive, lead and develop the finance role and its related functions & operations in the organization.  

HOW

You will be responsible for :-
  •  Lead, setup, manage and develop the financial operations function in the organization
  •  Build, develop and upskill the talent of the team
  •  Drive budget planning across all functions and act as the budget controller
  •  Ensure that all the financial practices are in line with relevant regulations and standards

    WHAT

    Participate in conducting thorough research studies and analysis from different sources and through different research tools covering all market segments, and compiling the gathered data into useful reports utilized in product development and decision making process, in addition to fulfilling the research and data requirements of marketing and business development related entities.

    HOW

    You will be responsible for :-
    • Participating in conducting thorough research studies and analysis and preparing reports to fulfill the needs of marketing, business development and other departments, which include market share and value share analysis, international network analysis, consumer behaviors, revenue forecasting, product positioning and pricing, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), trends, and others.
    • Assisting in researching and acquitting insights about the new products, services, and offers developed by international counterparts in the telecommunication sector, and preparing reports with findings.
    • Developing and distributing market research questionnaires/ surveys, in addition to extracting, analyzing and presenting results in useful reports in order to utilize them in product/ service development and improving current products/ services.

      WHAT

      A full stack developer including back end technics and integration who analyzing business and Technical requirements and developing them into solutions for Business Support Systems and Customer Integration needs, as well as monitoring their performance and ensuring day-to-day smooth running of systems, in addition to analyzing deployed products and subsequently recommending upgrades to improve the functionality and performance of systems. 
      Also, to Perform front line activities related to installation, commissioning, repair, operation and maintenance of Services, associated equipment’s and providing the support to internal and external customers.

      HOW

      You will be responsible for :
           
      • a. Technical & Executive: 
        i. Analyzing business requirements and subsequently contributing to developing them into API solutions and applications, as well as testing and integrating them to current systems and contributing to the optimization of implemented systems and tools. 
        ii. Align provided solutions with all related parties and functions, such as compliance commitment, financial impacts, central bank rules and Anti Money Laundry procedures.

      The Role

      Monitoring Telecom Network’s systems and infrastructure including Core Network, Radio Access Network (RAN), Transmission Network…etc., in addition to the IT elements and services; detecting any errors, failures, malfunction, and/ or low performance around the clock, through checking alarms, event logs and all other modules of network monitoring system.

      The Responsibilities

      • Monitoring Telecom Network’s systems and infrastructure including Core Network, Radio Access Network (RAN), Transmission Network…etc.; detecting any errors, failures, malfunction, and/ or low performance within the network around the clock, through checking alarms, event logs and all other modules of network monitoring system.
      • Clearing alarms and managing faults related to the Telecom Network’s elements, through faults detection, isolation, troubleshooting and escalation to the concerned team, while following Zain’s policies and procedures in this regard.
      • Assisting and Following-up with related teams throughout problems Telecom Network elements problem resolution; aiming to maximizing network’s availability and minimize its downtimes.
      •  Supporting enhancement, upgrade and optimization activities of telecom network elements, as well as the introduction of new services; ensuring availability and functionality of all services and network elements as a result.
      •  Preparing operational reports including network’s status, network performance, failures, power outages…etc., and subsequently deliver them to concerned parties in a timely manner. 
      •  Assisting in handling and following-up on customer complaints, and informing Call Center department in case of any Network activities that may cause service outage or performance levels degradation. 
      •  Coordinating activities between different field teams, in order to prevent overlap/ redundancy and guarantee consistency of actions. 
      •  Implementing incident management policy and procedure, in addition to initiate the related incident report where needed.
      •  Controlling team’s access for different locations and facilities, such as wireless communication sites, while reporting break-in incidents to the concerned parties.
      •  Leading working shifts and supervising other team members; ensuring smooth work flow and problem handling, when assigned by direct manager.
