One of the large engineering consultancy firms in Jordan is looking for a supervision engineers for their roads construction supervision project in Iraq, the duration of the project is 18 Month.
التخصصات المطلوبة :
(EXPERT 1) Material Engineer:
A minimum of B.Sc. degree in Material Engineering /Civil Engineering/Material Science with at least 15) years of experience in civil engineering works including international/ global experience, out of which at least 5 years as materials engineers in road works especially in asphalt pavement concrete involving placement of asphalt concrete and stabilized pavement materials. His duties shall include, but not be limited to: scrutinize documents for imported materials or manufactured items to ensure compliance with specifications, test and record results on standard forms showing exact location of the materials in the works and their origin, certification of all materials to be used in the works in terms of quality and quantity. S/he shall also be in charge of all materials to be incorporated into the works including asphalt concrete, as well as utilization of material sites and waste deposit sites. They shall as well carry out tests on completed works in order to check compliance with specification requirements of the works operations after the materials have been placed in the field.
(EXPERT 2) Roads Safety Engineer/ Traffic Engineer:
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience including international experience in road design, traffic management and road safety measures. He will be in charge of traffic safety measures design review and all works regarding traffic safety improvements, including monitoring of traffic management during construction. He shall Review the traffic management plans and traffic diversions during construction and ensuring all temporary traffic diversions are maintained in a safe clean condition for the road users, monitor all temporary road networks on the construction site to ensure safe use, including intersections, speed limits, visibility, signage, etc. He shall also be responsible for monitoring of road accidents on the project road during implementation, measures to address any road safety issues identified, and timely requests, facilitation and implementation of independent Road Safety Audits before completion and during early operation.
(EXPERT 3) Environmental Expert:
At least 10 years of experience in environmental management and monitoring including international/ global experience, a minimum of 5 (five) years in road construction, rehabilitation/reconstruction projects, and be experienced in safeguards policies. He will be in charge of all environmental aspects of the works, and implementation of the environmental impact mitigation measures as defined in the Environmental and Social Management Plan prepared specifically for this project. He will also instruct the contractor of measures to ensure full compliance with these measures as well as report on such compliance.
