Konn Technologies is a Jordanian construction technology company that provides advanced tech-enabled solutions for the construction of sustainable and affordable homes. We are looking for a Structural Engineer to be responsible for the design of various structural precast concrete elements according to the local and international codes and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design of various structural precast concrete elements according to the international codes and industry standards.
- Create structural models and perform analysis for all related environmental factors that include wind load, seismic loads, etc….
- Using the best structural analysis software’s
- Draft production drawing for the designed elements with all its technical details and materials specifications.
- Provide technical support about the existing and new construction materials
- Determine the best methods for design & application
- Prepare structural drawings for local permits
- Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
- Follow construction safety guidelines
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
- Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers
- Prepare and allocate budgets
- Track and report on project progress
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers
Qualifications
- Degree in structural design from a reputable university with good performance
- 4-6 years of experience in the design and construction of precast concrete building elements
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
- Profficeincy in Autosdesk CAD and Revit
- Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
- Good communication ability (both written and verbal) in Arabic and English
- Attention to detail
