We are looking to hire an ambitious and talented candidate to be part of Zain Engineering Department to assist in developing and maintaining new revenue streams through monitoring Value Added Services systems and platforms. in addition to participating in developing, testing, and launching these services to provide customers with the best experience. In addition to build automation process to do the task in minimal time with high quality and performance.
Main Tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Implementing and launching new VAS and employing proper technical specification in line with service’s design; providing customer with diverse services satisfying its needs.
- Administrating and Maintaining VAS systems and platform.
- Negotiating and discussing technical specifications of required services with vendors and assisting in Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation.
- Implementing scripts to extract information and/or automate tasks by using bash scripting, python or any other tools.
- Implementing configuration changes on VAS Linux/Unix based systems.
- Implementing and modify configurations on IP switches/routers rules on VAS LANs if required.
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
To be shortlisted for the position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
