Mindset, a regional social and market research firm based in Amman -Jordan, is looking to hire a mid-level Accountant Officer with the below qualifications:
• BA or higher in finance / accounting or a similar degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
• Min 4 years of experience in Accounting
• Thorough knowledge of tax and social security laws
• Very good command of the English language
• Very good command of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Adept problem solver and decision maker
Some of the responsibilities include:
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Process company's payroll every pay period
