1- Senior HR Officer

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the implementation of the HR strategy with a specific accountability for recruitment and selection.
  • Supports the HR Management to implement approved recruitment strategies of various JRF departments using internet tools, online ads, agencies, etc.
  • Is the point of contact for all for all recruitment activities and tasks and actively provides HR support services to the Foundation and staff as and when requested.
  • Follow up on the employee’s contracts, especially the limited and projects contracts and make sure to communicate with the needed management in regard to contracts extensions or terminations and report to HR management regularly.

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Contributes towards workforce planning by identifying the gaps between current roles and future needs of the departments, and ensure that all hiring is based on the priority basis.
  • Assist the HR management to propose, research, consult on and implement new initiatives that promote JRF as employer of choice.
  • Conducts the entire recruitment process to enable selection of quality talent for vacant positions within defined timelines that includes conducting employment checks, pre-screening and interviews.
  • Trains colleagues in JRF about Recruitment & Selection practices to ensure that hiring managers are working according to JRF policies and procedures
  • Ensures that each position in the organization is linked to Job Descriptions to identify key accountabilities and requisite competencies for all vacant positions and provide the same to the recruitment agencies and search engines.
  • Coordinates and ensures Internal and External job advertisements are published as per HR Policy Manual.
  • Utilizes search engines and headhunting agencies to find suitable candidates for available vacancies in an efficient and cost effective manner within a reasonable time frame and without delays.
  • Sets up interviews for all vacancies, with a selected interview panel, and provides feedback to the hiring manager and updates the candidate of the outcome.
  • Conducts HR interview along with the interview panel, and provides recommendations to the hiring manager, obtains their decision and update the candidate with the results.
  • Prepares Conditional Offer for selected candidate based on successful employment checks and verifies the offer with the compensation structure, thereby ensuring agreement of the hiring manager on the same.
  • Handles negotiations regarding new hire and their joining date in coordination with hiring manager, prior to preparing a legally binding employment contract for the new hires in coordination with the policy and procedures of JRF.
  • Administers joining formalities of the new hires ensuring that all the documentation provided by the new hire is accurate and up-to-date to finalize new hire requirements,
  • Manages Orientation schedule and informs prospective colleagues about joining formalities and hiring policies and ensures smooth arrival of the colleagues within stipulated date.
  • Ensures all Pre-Employment Checks are conducted and all required paperwork is input into the Employee Files
  • Manages the recruitment management system to ensure up to date information of all recruitment activities to ensure all jobs are approved through the system prior to any hiring, maintains resume database of the candidates and
  • Ensures timely and systematic administration of all HR recruitment related documentation and contracts renewals, query resolution of Colleagues, HR data security and Colleague relations

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field
– Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
– Extensive recruitment hands on experience
– Experience with Jordanian labour law




2-  Senior Project Coordinator

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

• Establishing and maintaining a business working relationship with the working bodies, governmental, private sector and youth within the targeted governorates.

• Assessing the targeted youth start-ups capacities and needs and advising on the needed capacity building efforts in accordance to those needs.

• Preparing the business canvas model for the small business ideas and ventures that are initially selected. • Establishing a business plan for the small business ideas that are initially selected.

• Acting as a liaison for the approval cycle of the full agreement package with the internal and external committee. • Coordinating for the technical and financial training of the youth teams.

• Provide mentorship for the selected ventures and projects with overseeing the implementation process of the business model, and the consequent follow-up.

• Ensures detailed and accurate documentation and reporting relating to the requirements of the function.

Requirements:

-Aware of the current ecosystem of Jordan

-Has an overall knowledge of the most recent technologies

-Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Administration or any related field

-Strong English
