Jordan’s only container terminal and therefore plays a vital role in the counter economy and acts as a
critical gateway for container transport to the wider region. The facility completed a significant expansion
protect to cater for the future growth. Aqaba Container Terminal (M) Company is a joint venture
terminal between the Aqaba Development Corporation and APM Terminals
Position Summary
This position is responsible for developing and managing commercial activities including providing ACT
management with market intelligence information and data as well as volume forecasts- The holder of this
job will also be responsible for providing services to the terminal customers; ensuring that their
experience in dealing with various functions within the terminal is satisfactory.
Knowledge and Skills:
Develops Business intelligence and targeted commercial plan
Gathers and analyses lead indicators for forecasting purposes
Prepares commercial budget and forecasts
Develops scorecards and performance dashboards
Drafts SLA and monitors carriers' performance
Maintains and further develops ACT Value Based Selling tools
Prepares commercial materials and other sales related tool bones
Assist map and maintain Commercial and Customer Service lean processes
Education and Experience:
Education: BA in Business, economics. marketing or related field.
Work experience may be substituted for education. with a minimum of five (5) years of applicable
wort: experience, and the potential to achieve additional education
language : Excellent spoken and written English
experience : Requires at least three years of experience in Liner or Logistic industry in
marketing/sales or logistic departments, preferably liner or logistic
