Operations Coordinator
•Bachelor of Industrial Engineering
minimum of five years administrative experience
· Follow up & Coordinate between different plant Departments to insure smooth and efficient processes.
· Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in quickly and timely manner.
· Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations.
· Assist Managers in day-to-day coordination and management of Plant operational activities.
· Monitor, control and manage business operations to meet Market expectations and company goals.
· Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines.
· Evaluate current operational performance and provide strategic plan for improvements.
Provide direction and guidance to internal teams to achieve performance targets.
· Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.
Works with key operations personnel to ensure that the plan optimizes plant resources and satisfies customer demand
Publishes 7-day fixed production schedule to all manufacturing personnel. Communicates any changes to the schedule in a timely manner
Tracks, analyzes, and reports key scheduling and inventory metrics. Uses these metrics to take action to recommend capacity changes, inventory stocking position changes, and plant schedule changes.
Proactively communicating with key plant personnel to ensure adherence to schedule and processes
Reviewing and responding to logistics requests for expedited/hot orders or sourcing exceptions
Following up with necessary plant personnel to ensure adherence to shortage commitments and jointly resolve any discrepancies due to production, finishing, maintenance or quality issues
Developing analytical tools to manipulate large volumes of data using functions like pivot tables and other advanced Excel functions and Microsoft Access;
Maintains, updates, and develops current and future logistics analysis, execution, and reporting tools and processes to facilitate production planning, customer service, freight reduction, and inventory control.
Collaborating with plant personnel to develop plan of action for shortages, scheduled and unscheduled downtime to ensure high customer service;
Closely monitor Production plan and that obsolete/overstocked inventories are actively reduced
Supports manufacturing improvement projects, incremental capacity moves, and general process improvement
Works with plant controller and cost accountants to improve inventory accounting processes
