described below:.
Logistic Manager
QUANTIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Certificates, Master Degree is an advantage
• Min 10 years' experience within chemical industry logistics management with minimum 5
years experience as Logistic or Supply Chain Manager
• Has good knowledge and access to National and International Forwarder
• Has good knowledge about dangerous goods transportation.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Advanced communication skills.
• Advanced Problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Negotiation skills
• Advanced managerial and supervisory skills.
• Advanced knowledge about international shipping and transportation safety practices.
• Good financial practices knowledge.
This position will have the following Main Account abilities::
• Manage the establishment of strategies and goals for logistics department's functions
providing effective planning and control.
• Manage the establishment of logistics department Policies and procedures to assure safe and
correct employees activities and equipment operation.
• Manage implementing logistics and safety procedures within department and make
necessary corrective actions if needed to ensure personnel, equipment and environment
safety.
• Making critical decisions regarding technical logistics activities based on technical knowledge
and expertise to solve problems correctly and safely with minimum cost
• Manage keeping the logistic process running with the required quantity and quality, by
enforcing getting the work done right from first time, minimize the break inns with coopera-
tion with production team, to satisfy customer requests and minimize customer complains.
• Establishing Department Strategies and Objectives
• Motivate and develop reporting staff ensuring that objectives are established and communi-
cated; individual performance is supported, monitored and reviewed, to ensure manpower
plans are met.
