١- Head Chef
Job brief
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.
Include:
  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities.
  • Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
  • Approving and “polishing” dishes before they reach the customer.
Responsibilities:

  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages.
  • Arrange for repairs when necessary.

  • Oversee the work of subordinates.
  • Estimate staff’s workload and compensations.
  • Maintain records of payroll and attendance.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-oworkers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as head chef.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic.
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).

٢- Executive Pastry Chef
What will I be doing? 
  • As Executive Pastry Chef, you would be responsible for directing and administering the planning, preparation, production and control of all pastry production in the bakery’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Direct, oversee and participate in all pastry production and operations, to include, but not limited to, quality preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts and baked goods, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
  • Create and implement new items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
  • Ensure compliance with local and company health, safety and sanitation awareness standards
  • Perform general management duties including, but not limited to, systems management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • train team members
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

  • Proven experience as head pastry chef.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic.
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree in Culinary Arts (Pastry/Baking); 5 or more years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management .
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

٣-  Line Cook & Sous Chef

We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices.
  • Culinary school diploma.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Task-driven individual.
Responsibilities:
  • Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef.
  • Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line.
  • Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

٤- Sous Chef
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with the executive chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s policy and vision.
  •  Come up with new dishes which appeal to the clients, whenever required.
  •  Establish the working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen so that everything works like a “well-oiled machinery”.
  • Plan the food design in order to create a perfect match between the dish’s aspect and its taste.
  • Train the kitchen staff in order to provide best results in minimum time and using at the maximum the available resources.
  • Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in English and Arabic.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef.
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management.
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions.
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
  • BS degree in Culinary arts.
Skills:
