1-  Assessor

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 
Scope of Work:
  • Attend a 5 day training on assessment strategies
  • Ensure familiarization with relevant MHPSS screening and assessment measures
  • Ensure familiarization with risk management procedures and referral pathways
  • Understand and uphold confidentiality of participants involved in the project
  • Conduct screening procedures on a camp-based population, in line with training provided and guidance documents
  • Conduct screening procedures using a tablet-based form
  • Inform beneficiaries of screening results and potential eligibility to participate in a research trial
  • Schedule appointments for subsequent assessment of persons eligible to participate in the research trial
  • Conduct assessments at four separate time points for each participant
  • Ensure strict time management adherence to scheduled appointments
  • Conduct assessment appointments in a confidential setting
  • Implement and ensure strict adherence to assessment protocols and procedures
  • Inform MHPSS assessor supervisor of participant informed consent
  • Coordinate assessment schedule and location of assessment with the MHPSS assessor supervisor
  • Ensure accurate documentation of completed assessment and upload results as per guidance document
  • Promptly identify and discuss with the MHPSS assessment supervisor any suspected protection concerns, and any difficulties encountered
  • Ensure the safe storage and utilization of the tablet at all times
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal IMC reports as required
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by MHPSS Assessor Supervisor

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree required in a field related to research, health, nursing, the social sciences, social work, psychology or counselling
  • Desirable: 1+ years research or assessment experience
  • Desirable: + 1 year of experience working with an INGO
  • Desirable: Some experience in MHPSS programing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide evidence-based psychological assistance to support clients and their families with mental health and psychosocial issues.
  • Remain up to date on evidence-based psychological interventions and advances in the field of psychology.
  • Remain up to date with professional development opportunities.
  • Support other psychologists as part of a peer supervision model.
  • Assist the case management teams in improving forms, care planned mapping of community support services.
  • Take on team coaching and mentoring of team members.
  • Organize the development of initial care plan with focus on any immediate safety concerns.
  • Participate in case conferences, supervision and training opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver trainings for staff on topics relevant to psychological practice and case management.
  • Develop care plans that are individualized and mutually developed with the client.
  • Monitor on-going care plan development with special attention to safety issues.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise staff on carrying out risk assessments and the development of safety plans.
  • Coordinate the provision of case management and psychosocial services to patients, families, and significant others to enable these parties to deal with the impact of illness on individual family functioning and to achieve maximum benefits from healthcare services.
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided.
  • Offer direct therapeutic support for clients referred.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Master degree in psychology
  • Experience with an NGO (preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience in mental health preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scope of Work:
  • Organize the development of biopsychosocial initial care plan with focus on any immediate safety concerns.
  • Monitor on-going care plan development with special attention to safety issues and stabilizing the family from the effects of domestic violence.
  • Establish long-term goals in case planning, which can include family stability.
  • Establish short-term goals and include steps to address safety and immediate family stability.
  • Ensure that all care plan activities have time lines and support services.
  • Coordinate the provision of social services to patients, families, and significant others to enable these parties to deal with the impact of illness on individual family functioning and to achieve maximum benefits from healthcare services.
  • Serve as a client Advocate.
  • Enhance a collaborative relationship to maximize the client’s and family’s ability to make informed decisions.
  • Conduct review for appropriate utilization of services from admission through discharge/termination.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, and actively participate in case conferences
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided.
  • Ensure involvement of local authorities, community leaders, and community groups in creating community network which increase access to better health and social services for vulnerable population of Jordan.
  • Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and quality assurance measures (HoNOS) and client functioning scale.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal IMC reports as required
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Bachelor degree required in a field related to the social sciences, psychology, social work, or counselling
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an MHPSS related role
  • Desirable: + 1 year of experience working with an INGO

5-  Driver / Focal Point

Report to: Logistics Senior Officer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive IMC Jordan vehicles as needed for work-related matters as per supervisor’s directions.
  • Keep IMC Jordan vehicles in good condition at all times.
  • Assist IMC Jordan programs and departments to carry out work-related tasks when required with supervisor’s permission.
  • Carry office or guest house-related procurement with supervisor’s permission and under Finance Department observation.
  • Comply with IMC’s standard procedures and regulations in terms of security and logistics as well as relevant local laws.
  • Monitor and maintain vehicles’ tracking sheets.
  • Focal point of all IMC staff at azraq camp.
  • Supervise all the driver’s at the camp during working days.
  • Regularize moment of vehicles and general management drivers.
  • Close contact with transportation Manager regarding maintenance.
  • Monitor an organize driver’s annual leaves online.
  • Prepare schedules for driver’s rotation.
  • Support logistic department in regard to obtaining entrance permission for all IMC and non IMC vehicles to the camp.
  • Monitor and follow the overtime of 9 rented minivans operated by IMC, every single day and hand it to our transportation officer by the end of each month.
  • Communicate and follow any issue or work orders related to transportation or drivers in azraq camp by email with other IMC departments or locations.
  • Filling the security report and email it on time to the IMC security manager, and upload it to the IMC incidents web site (giving full details), in case of any rented or owned IMC vehicle accident.   
  • Close contact to the IMC security manager, filed site manager, azraq camp sites focal points and transportation manager regarding any urgent issues (24H, 7days). 
  • Responsible for preparing the maintenance schedule providing the technical support  and issuing the PRs.
