IT Security Officer
Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing procedures, tools, and scripts to facilitate the deployment and automation of enterprise-wide IT security solutions.
- Administration of IPS system, firewall and other network and desktop security systems.
- Create scripts for auditing and monitoring the platform (Microsoft and UNIX-based) and network nodes using NMAP and other tools.
- Deployment of data leakage detection and prevention solutions.
- Prepares and conduct vulnerability assessment tests.
- Monitors administration SIEM system
- Contributes to the overall secure and high-available IT infrastructure.
- Coordinates the delivery of an education and training program on information security and privacy matters to staff in different levels.
- Ensures dissemination of security polices to IT staff.
- Responsible for preparing technical compliance reports as required by national and international security standards and regulations.
- Analyse technical risks of information security within IT Dept. as per risk management program.
Education & Professional Experience (Essential Minimum Requirement):
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer science or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in information security, information technology or related field.
- Experience in developing and administering an information security program desirable.
- Working knowledge of and experience in the policy and Regulatory environment of information security, especially in Health is desirable.
- Excellent project management, written and oral communications skills desired.
- A demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people is required.
- Good Communication Skills
- Very good command of English
- Ability to work under pressure
