JOB SUMMARY
  • Promote and maintain a good standard of care and hygiene in the theater room and the sterilization department in collaboration with the surgical team and the sterilization nurse            
  • Ensure that OT is adequately stocked with supplies and essential equipment.
  • Ensure correct preparation, handling use and storage of equipment and supplies in the operation theater and sterilization department.
  • Ensure that all necessary instruments, supplies and equipment are prepared and date for each surgical procedure.
  • Ensure that the programme for OT is prepared and arrange for the transport of patients to and from the operating table\operating theater in a timely manner.
  • Assist with positioning, preparation and draping of patients prior to surgery and application of dressing following the surgery.
  • Scrub for surgical procedures to prepare and handle surgical instruments and assist the surgeon.
  • Maintain sterility of the operating field
  • Ensure that compresses, needles and blades are counted when required.
  • Ensure that instruments, trolleys and other equipment are decontaminated and cleaned following each procedure.
  • Ensure that sharps and soiled linen are correctly and safety disposed of following each surgical procedure.
  • Ensure that the regular programme of cleaning is carried out and participate in weekly cleaning.
  • Ensure that the regular programme of maintenance of technical and non-technical equipment’s followed.
  • Ensure the maintenance of adequate stocks of materials for routine OT consumption Followed.
  • Able to perform the sterilization procedures’ in case of need.
  • Participate in regular nursing meeting.
  • Provide handover report between the working shifts.
  • Cover other department if the work need it.
  • Perform other duties assigned\requested by the line manager and hospital manager.
  • Commit to a confidential clause: personal and medical information relating to patients which is during their hospital stay is strictly confidential.

JOB SUMMARY
Scope of Work:
The main purpose of the position is to provide obstetrical care to pregnant women and their babies, doing follow up before, during and after delivery, according to IMC obstetrical and reproductive health protocols, universal hygienic and newborn caring standards and under supervision of a specialist doctor, in order to ensure their health conditions and avoid post-delivery complications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement all the protocols and hygiene procedures, in order to warrant the quality of the care.
  • In collaboration with the midwives, ensures that each patient admitted in the facility is followed diligently and the orders from the treating Obstetrician are followed properly. 
  • Ensure that all the administrative procedures and documents are filled in correctly
  • Performs all clinical tasks assigned as per recommendations from the obstetrician and records clinical details of the patients properly in the files. This includes following up patients, measuring vital signs, administering medications and performing clinical tasks.
  • Properly following up all newborn babies from delivery until discharge, informing mothers and relatives about importance of breast feeding, vaccination and possible complications resulting from harmful traditional practices.
  • Ensures that administrative procedures of admissions and hospitalizations comply with IMC protocols, as well as verify patients are properly informed and receive the required documents.
  • Participates in the organization of the ward in collaboration with other midwives and the maternity ward supervisor.
  • Ensures effective handover the patients at the end of the shift. Documents all relevant clinical details of the patient in the handover notes and ensures that all patients especially high risk cases are handed over to the next shift.
  • Participates in ward rounds during the shifts and documents relevant information.
  • Provides health education sessions to the patients admitted in the facility. Ensures that adequate information is given to the patients about their condition and explains dos and don’ts to postpartum patients.
  • Provides relevant information to the patients about the daily care of their newborn babies.
  • Performs any other clinical tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Education/Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; valid registration with JMNCA
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a recognized hospital
  • Experience in a Maternity facility would be an advantage
  • INGO experience would be an added advantage

The role of Child Protection Team Leader is to promote quality and effective outcomes by providing leadership and supervision to a team of Child Protection Case Managers. The Child Protection Team Leader provides guidance and support to Child Protection Case Managers to ensure that they conduct comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and overall evaluation of individual children’s needs. The Team Leader is responsible for the distribution of workload including cases, ensuring manageable case-loads for individual Child Protection Case Managers. The Child Protection Team Leader has extensive experience in child protection case management, and ensures that all case management activities are in line with best practice guidance, and adhere to child protection case management minimum standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities 
Scope of Work:
  • Provide supervision and management to a team of Child Protection Case Managers
  • Provide effective leadership by modelling positive behavior and working in partnership with the Child Protection Technical Team and other IMC departments
  • Assist and provide guidance to Child Protection Case Managers to complete all steps of Child Protection Case Management including comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and overall evaluation of individual children’s needs
  • Supervise and endorse the assessments, care plans and case closures of individual cases allocated to Child Protection Case Managers
  • Ensure involvement in the development and review of care plans, related to strengthening families and promoting a child’s safety, stability and development. Ensure that child protection case management procedures are in line with child protection minimum standards
  • Advocate for and ensure that caseloads allocated to Child Protection Case Managers are manageable and permit high-quality planning, service provision, and evaluation of case management services
  • Actively promote collaboration among colleagues and other organizations to enhance service delivery
  • Identify the training and capacity building needs of team members, and communicate these needs to technical support staff and program managers
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided
  • Ensure involvement of local authorities, community leaders, and community groups in creating community based protection mechanisms
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships, ongoing communication and successful negotiations with all key stakeholders both internal and external
  • Take on team coaching and mentoring of team members.
  • Take the lead on new hire orientation and on the job training of Child Protection Case Managers

JOB SUMMARY
Child Protection is the prevention of and response to abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence against children. Child Protection case management is the process of helping individual children and families through direct social-work-type support, and managing information well. Within child protection case management, there should be appropriate involvement of children throughout the process, as well as full consideration of the best interest of the child.
The position of Child Protection Officer will be a seasoned protection professional with a formal degree in psychology, sociology or social work. The position requires the Child Protection Officer to support field staff (mainly child protection case managers) working with children through the application of best practices on Child Protection. This includes the provision of technical supervision, mentoring and shadowing of case managers. The Child Protection Officer will be responsible for the revision of case management processes
The Child Protection Officer will spend at least 65% of his/her time in the field working directly with child protection staff and reporting directly to Senior Child Protection.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Supervision 
The Child Protection Officer will provide technical supervision in a group setting. The Child Protection Officer is responsible for holding regular sessions (1-2 sessions per month) in each of his/her responsible locations.  
Training
The Child Protection Officer is responsible for the development and delivery of training on Case Management, Psychosocial and Child Protection related topics. This will take shape in both formal and informal trainings.
Mentoring 
The Child Protection Officer is responsible for providing child protection case management staff with on the job coaching and mentoring in the following manner:
  • Shadowing of case managers in interviews and home visits
  • Review and discuss case documentation with case managers
  • Participating in case discussions and case conferences and providing suggestions and technical input regarding the interventions as needed
  • Use of various tools to mentor the case managers and help to develop their competencies in a reflective manner.
Review of Best Interest Determination (BID) cases and membership of BID panels 
  • The Child Protection Officer regularly participates in BID panels in their areas of responsibilities
  • The Child Protection Officer is responsible for reviewing any BID document sent from his/her area of responsibility before it is sent to the Senior Child Protection Officer. This is done in cooperation with the responsible case manager and the team leader
  • The Child Protection Officer will ensure that the BID document is presented according to guidelines given by UNHCR. They will also review the document to ensure clarity in language and that information is holistic and all encompassing
Membership of coordination groups on protection and referral, both at field and central levels 
The Child Protection Officer is responsible for attending all relevant protection and referral coordination meetings in the field (and in Amman as needed), together with the relevant field staff. Relevant information from these meetings shall be given to staff in the field looping the Team Leader and Senior Child Protection Officer.
Participation in recruitment processes 
The Child Protection Officer will provide support requested by Field Managers,Senior Child Protection Officer or human resources in the recruitment process of new case managers or other staff working in protection related roles. This can be through the participation in interviews, the development of written tests or interview questions.
Focal Points 
The Child Protection Officer will be assigned the responsibility for different geographical areas. Here he/she will act as the focal point for the staff in the field and will support through phone calls and regular visits. The division of geographical areas is subject to regular revision and change.
 Other tasks 
  • The Child Protection Officer will ensure high quality correspondence with local partners, other agencies, grantees and governmental organizations as needed and directed by the Senior Child Protection Officer.  
  • Contribute to proposals and report writing as needed
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting on program specific indicators related to their scope of work
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Senior Child Protection Officer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scope of Work:
  • Assist the case management teams in improving forms, care plans and mapping of community support services.
  • Organize the development of initial care plan with focus on any immediate safety concerns.
  • Develop care plans that are individualized and mutually developed with the client.
  • Monitor on-going care plan development with special attention to safety issues and stabilizing the family from the effects of domestic violence.
  • Coordinate the provision of social services to patients, families, and significant others to enable these parties to deal with the impact of illness on individual family functioning and to achieve maximum benefits from healthcare services.
  • Conduct review for appropriate utilization of services from admission through discharge/termination.
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and quality of care provided.
  • Ensure involvement of local authorities, community leaders, and community groups in creating community network which increase access to better health and social services for vulnerable population of Jordan.
  • Provide psychological assistance with the aim to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families, maximizing overall community well-being.
  • Contribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and quality assurance measures (HoNOS). And client functioning scale.
  • Administering medication.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.
Deliverables:  
  • Provide CM sessions to the mental health cases, conduct comprehensive mental health assessment for the clients, and set a long / short term goals.
Qualifications:  
  •  Bachelor degree in psychology or any related majors.

  • Drive IMC Jordan vehicles as needed for work-related matters as per supervisor’s directions.
  • Keep IMC Jordan vehicles in good condition at all times.
  • Assist IMC Jordan programs and departments to carry out work-related tasks when required with supervisor’s permission.
  • Carry office or guest house-related procurement with supervisor’s permission and under Finance Department observation.
  • Comply with IMC’s standard procedures and regulations in terms of security and logistics as well as relevant local laws.
  • Monitor and maintain vehicles’ tracking sheets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications Required:
  • Years of experience: Min 2 years of experience 
  • Holding license of 5th class category for driving depending on the vehicles
