IT Help Desk
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/IS related or equivalent experience is desirable.
- 2 years related experience.
- A+ Certification is a strong plus.
- Direct face-to-face or telephone support experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft desktop applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and SharePoint) or similar software.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
Job Duties- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, and equipment issues.
- Follow standard help desk procedures.
- Log all help desk interactions and submit a daily activity report to the Direct Manager.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Installing and configuring computer systems.
Personal Skills- Availability for on call and after hours work.
- Strong communication, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical end users.
- An outspoken team player.
- Highly organized, analytical, and possesses abundant common sense.
- Ability to work under pressure.
