Claims Assistant
Jordan Paramedic Society is as local, not-for-profit, NGO founded in Jordan in 2012 on the basis of serving, supporting, and motivating the surrounding community and the MENA region.
JPS aims to provide high quality healthcare to the
disadvantaged and the vulnerable as well as spread
awareness on healthy living and disease prevention.
To qualify for this position, you will need:
Task and Responsibilities:
Ensures that medical claims, medical records and other documentation essential to the healthcare provider follow JPS agreement.
Ensures record accuracy, follows up, and makes necessary revisions
Processes changes in information system to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.
Checking eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.
Reviews and verifies medical bills and invoices (Lab. Tests, X-rays, Medications, Medical disposables, Doctor Fees...etc.) for accuracy of pricing, and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
Calling hospitals regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
Other tasks
Carries out any other duties that may reasonably or exceptionally be required to ensure the smooth operation of JPS Project work.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor degree / or Diploma (Good and above) in a Pharmacist;
At least 03 years working experience in hospitals
Familiar with software;
English reading, writing and speaking skills (highly desirable);
Able to carry out his/her work in an organized manner;
Able to work independently and in a team;
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

To qualify for this position, you will need:
Task and Responsibilities:
Accounting Work
Assist the FO in preparation of disbursement plans in accordance with the Project Management Guideline
Ensures the management of the data file and the appropriate filing of the electronic and hard copies of the financial documents and reports.
Prepares the monthly financial report based on the accounting application, with all necessary justifying documentation (invoice, bank drafts and bank exchange).
Ensures a regular monitoring of the bank account(s)
Maintains payment record of all invoices received.
Maintains payee statement records for all suppliers.
Carries out payments of all regular area office expenses such as office rental, telephone bills, advances, etc.
Finance / budget
Prepares the planning of the financial needs for forthcoming periods.
Ensures sufficient availability of funds in the office bank accounts and cash by liaising with the appropriate interlocutors.
Maintains the petty cash box, with all due accounting and security precautions.
Prepares the elements for the budget analysis.
Maintains the budget forecast tool.
Monitors the development of expenditure, ensuring that budget overruns do not occur and prepares requests for possible amendments.
Other tasks
Carries out any other duties that may reasonably or exceptionally be required to ensure the smooth operation of JPS Project work, such as substituting for absent colleagues, etc after approval of the FO.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor degree (Good and above) in either accounting, finance or economics;
At least 02 years working experience in accounting and finance, preferably in large government or non-government organizations is required.
Familiar with accounting software’s;
English reading, writing and speaking skills (highly desirable);
Able to carry out his/her work in an organized manner;
Able to work independently and in a team;
Demonstrated interpersonal
