King Hussein Cancer Center is seeking to hire the following vacancy:
Medical Technologist
Job Requirements
- Good experience/ technical skills at the bench level with in-depth theoretical knowledge in lab procedures.
- Knowledge in the international laboratory standards of excellence such as CAP, JCIA, is preferable
- Understanding/applying of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Continuous Quality Improvement concepts.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety manuals, Universal precautions, Chemical Hygiene/ Exposure Control plans and their applications.
Education and Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Medical Technology or Lab related science with at least Very Good score.
- Have Ministry of Health license as a lab technologist.
- Ability to demonstrate multi-tasking skills in performing assigned tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Good command of oral and written English with ability to write SOPs.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
