1- Technical Quality & Compliance Officer - Amman
- Evaluate the soundness, adequacy, and effectiveness of operating policies, procedures, and controls, in the areas of programme, finance, HR, administration, logistics and procurement and in accordance with NRCs operational standards as expressed in the various policy documents, handbooks and other guidelines and monitor compliance in the implementation of those policies and guidelines.
- At the direction of the Quality and Compliance Coordinator, fully track and support in the investigation of complaints, allegations of suspected fraud or misconduct.
- Provide support and guidance on project specific external and internal audits.
- Conduct trainings on topics of quality operating standards, Compliance, participation with the HR team on Anti-Corruption sessions in inductions and trainings.
- At the direction of the Quality and Compliance Coordinator, frequent travel in between all locations to conduct different compliance activities such as spot checks and provide Findings.
- Recommendations and create SoPs for the conducted spot check to the Quality and Compliance Coordinator.Generic responsibilities:

We are looking for a university graduate in Law with previous experience. Experience working in complex and volatile contexts and experience from working within technical expertise area in a humanitarian/ recovery context. Valid license from the Jordanian Bar Association and to have knowledge of the displacement context in Jordan. Extensive knowledge of Jordanian legal system and practice and Background in housing, land and property law, and/or foreigners’ legal status law and/or civil documentation law and/or labour law considered a strong advantage. Knowledge of Sharia law and its application in Jordan considered an advantage. Native fluency in Arabic and Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

3- Grants Officer "Nationals Only"
Role Specific Information

The Grants Officer will contribute to achieving quality and effective grants management systems by closely supporting the Grants manager and Grants Coordinator with maintaining and constantly upgrading NRC Jordan’s internal grants management systems and tools. S/he ensures NRC programme/support teams, as well as external stakeholders (e.g. auditors), have access to up-to-date grants-related files and information in soft and hard copies. S/he is the focal point for maintaining NRC’s grants management software (Cycles) and for information management of NRC’s Jordan Filing Tree and OneDrive system. The Grants Officer will also be the focal point for maintaining up-to-date CBO/Implementing Partners records in relation to assessments and agreements and for tracking new and existing partnerships. Last, but not least, the Grants Officer supports report and proposal submissions and donor visits as needed.

- Ensure all key grant documents are available in soft and hard copies by maintaining a high quality information management/filing system and regularly updating NRC’s grants management system (Cycles).
- Support NRC Jordan country-wide Information Management system by checking that all departments are effectively using OneDrive to store and share information as required, by providing a technical help-desk for internal staff, and by quality checking the data saved.
- Coordinate with Technical Data Officers across all programmes and the Finance team to ensure data are properly uploaded onto Activity Info/Financial Tracking System (FTS) at planning and monitoring stage. Maintain record of data transferred to the system.
- Support the Grants Coordinator and Grants Manager with the submission of reports and proposals to donors as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all CBO-related files (assessments and agreements) and tracking system in compliance with NRC Jordan CBO Guidance Note and supporting NRC’s Partnership Unit as needed.
- Update and maintain NRC Jordan External contact list, coordination table and external visits calendar.
- Support the Grants Manager and Head of Programme with the organisation of donors visits and other external events as required.

4- Technical Shelter Coordinator - Amman
The role of the Shelter Technical Coordinator is to contribute within the Shelter Specialist team to the technical development, strategic direction and quality assurance of NRC’s refugee housing program in Jordan. The program includes shelter and WASH components.

- Assist in reviewing the existing and development of the Urban Housing programme strategy, providing integrated shelter, energy and WASH solutions to the protracted needs of refugees and host communities in the urban areas of Jordan. The strategy is expected to aim at promoting self-reliance of households and supporting local institutions and be based on robust contextual analysis and best practices.
- Support to research effort through desk review and field work, and contribute to the linkage of current Jordan’s work on refugee housing with ongoing regional and global initiatives and best practices around responses to displacement and durable solutions.
- Support the Shelter Specialist in representing NRC at coordination fora;
- Documentation of best practices and case studies of the shelter program in Jordan.
