1-IT AUDITOR
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for executing engagements in the areas of IT and IT Security. Perform independent reviews and evaluations of IT systems, infrastructure and management operations and activities to appraise effectiveness, reliability, confidentiality, availability and integrity of IT systems and their underlying data and operating information in accordance with accepted internal auditing standards e.g. COBIT, ISO27001, NIST, ISO22301 … etc.
THE JOB ENTAILS ESPOSURE TO:
- Anticipate and identify engagement related information and security risks and controls in IT systems and related security components.
- Independently evaluate internal processes / controls; prepare detailed risk assessment, and develop the related audit planning memo and audit programs to test controls mitigating risks identified. Such controls may go beyond the normal IT general controls.
- Perform ISO27001 compliance audits on the certified functions.
- Perform ISO22301 compliance audits on the certified functions and assess the adequacy of business continuity and restoration plans at the local level and at disaster recovery level tests.
- Gather and analyse IT risks, information security risks and emerging cyber security risks from internal and/or external resources.
- Review the existing risk framework and recommend changes to risk assessment/ review/monitoring methodologies.
- review company operation processes, evaluating their efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with corporate IT and cyber security policies and related government regulations.
- Execute and manage the audit assignment by performing field-work and following the planned audit approach.
- Support the Internal Audit Team with training and use of data analytic tools to identify business risks and anomalies and detect fraud for all applicable internal audits and special studies/reviews.
- Ensure that sufficient and adequate evidence is gathered and documented in order to complete the set audit program. (Any improvements to the audit program should be proactively communicated to the managers as well.)
- Prepare working papers, and minutes of meetings as part of engagement documentation.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with value-added recommendations to management and audit committees.
- Follow-up for implementation of controls for key risks within timelines & escalate overdue issues:
- Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships.
- Assist seniors & managers in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.
- Create a positive learning culture: coach, counsel and develop junior team members.
- Deliver work that is of high quality and error free.
- Involvement in major IT Development Projects, as special assignments, to ensure controls are built in during the development process.
- Carry out / assist the investigative audit assignments in the relevant area of expertise.
- Conduct other general operational audit assigned by the Head of Internal Audit, based upon competency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor Degree /Masters from a reputed institution, in relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Security).
- Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in a related field, in a provider of professional audit services / consultancy / Medium to Large sized Telecommunication Service Provider is required. Experience should include IT general controls, application controls, information security, cyber security, data centre (mainframe and client/server) and operational IT audits along with application reviews of ERP systems.
- Certifications: A Professional / Audit related certification – (CISA/ CISSP/ ISO27001 LA/ ISO22301 LA) (CA/ CIA/ CPA /MBA etc.) with extensive experience in the IT and IT Security Audits may also fulfil the qualification requirement.
- Work Environment: Candidate should be willing to travel within the company locations when required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Knowledge Of:
- Sound understanding of relevant IT and IT security control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc
- Advanced knowledge on the use of data analytics and relevant analytics and CAAT tools e.g. MS-Excel, PowerBI, MS-Access, Tableau, ACL …etc.
- Excellent MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project skills for performing work assignments
- Documenting the work performed in line with Internal Audit requirement. A prior knowledge of a GRC tool shall be of added advantage
- Maintain or acquire sufficient knowledge of authoritative and regulatory issues governing information technology, auditing, telecommunication services or other fields as required to complete audit assignments.
- Experience / sound knowledge of SAP ERP system. Willingness and ability to learn about various information system.

2- NETWORK ACCESS FIELD MAINTENANCE ENGINEER TRAINEE - AQABA
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for all field activities in terms of Corrective and Preventive maintenance for most of telecom equipment ( Level1) (RAN, MW,IP, Power and OPTEX) including onsite configuration and performing optimization activities on existing related Telecom network elements , follow up implementation of new network phases and insuring that network is always up and running effectively and securing network availability
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain RAN, radio network KPI’s within agreed SLA’s.
- Maintain MW,IP, power and OPTIX elements within agreed SLA’s.
- Participate in the execution of Umniah’ s technical department strategy relating to TX &RAN maintenance scope.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering or Electrical Engineering or any related field.
Certificates: Preferable CCNA
Work environment: 90% field - 24/7 on call duty
