Motion Graphics Designer
ProgressSoft Corporation is looking to hire a Motion Graphics Designer who will be responsible for creating creative motion and graphics including motion videos and marketing-related material such as digital displays and printed production to meet marketing communications needs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design plans/storyboards and conceptual layouts for motion graphic projects to be discussed with the team.
- Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables including corporate videos, website videos, marketing demos, etc. for diversified media channels including smartphones, tablets, etc.
- Design several types of media for business and marketing teams as needed. This includes brochures, logos, flyers, posters, advertisements, agendas, packaging, cards, presentations, etc.
- Keep up with the latest advancements in motion graphics including technologies, techniques, contemporary trends in production design.
- Confer with the team to discuss and determine layout designs, as well as review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
- Maintain an archive of images, photos, videos and previous completed material, production, etc. in addition to search for raw stock designs for the library.
- Participate in the team’s brainstorming sessions to share fresh design perspectives and ideas and produce mockups accordingly.
- Select appropriate audio, graphic and motion styles for the project.
- Edit video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Train colleagues on motion software as needed.
- Compliance with company guidelines and design standards, and punctuality and abidance with given deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or any similar field.
- 0-2 years of experience in Motion Graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Skilled in typography.
- Skilled in layouts for several design types.
- Skilled in image composition and editing.
- A strong portfolio showcasing proficient digital design skills.
- Eagerness to keep up-to-date with the latest design technologies and trends and constantly gaining new skills.
- Ability to always introduce new creative ideas and concepts.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently and multitask.
- Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design.
- Detail-orientation and ability to review final design outcomes attentively.
- Collaboration and willingness to work with business and marketing teams.
- Open to constructive feedback and discussions on design outcomes and ideas with team members.
- Ability to uphold brand guidelines to produce consistent design outcomes.
