Mechanical Technician

British American Tobacco is currently recruiting a Mechanical Technician to join our manufacturing team based in Amman, Jordan. The incumbent will have to work within a team in the secondary manufacturing department (SMD) to operate and attend breakdowns on at least one SMD making machine to ensure that the uptime of the machines is optimised and manufacture of cigarettes is according to the production plan and within the defined quality parameters.

Technical Skills Required
- Technical high school education or diploma.
- At least 3 years’ experience as Maker technical in cigarettes manufacturing, preferably on Hauni Machines.
- Ability to communicate well with other team members.
- Ability to use mechanical and measuring equipment.
- Ability to work with designated procedures and forms
