PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION:-

The incumbent of this post is responsible to the Chief, Field Microfinance Programme (CFMP) and receives general guidance on policy, standards and performance from the Head, Administrative Support Section (HASS) at MD Headquarter, through MD Administrative Officer (AO)



 Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    

                In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent:

Ø    Assists recruitment officer at JFO in the day-to-day operation of MD recruitment services and activities as follows:

o   Is responsible to maintain the Microfinance department staffing table;

o   In coordination with CFMP and AO, and with collaboration with MD HASS, ensures that all Department staffing requirements are fully met, on different contract modalities;

o   Coordinates with CFMP on recruitment plans, ensuring that concerned parties agree on timelines and that recruitments are carried out within the overall recruitment plan;

o   Where applicable, drafts and issues vacancy announcements in coordination with AO/CFMP/JFO recruitment;

o   Reviews and screens applications against established post criteria; assists in the determination of candidates' qualifications and experience to facilitate selection of shortlists; collaborates with  JFO Recruitment Officer, for final shortlists validation; helps/advises on any issues requiring further consideration or discussion before the shortlist is finalized;

o   Coordinates and oversees arrangements for the administration of tests and schedules for telephone and / or personal interviews for the short-listed candidates (where applicable);

o   Participates in the recruitment process for every recruitment process initiated at the Microfinance Department, participates in interview boards as required; maintains and monitors rosters for crucial posts for all contract modalities applicable at MD;

o   In coordination with AO, follows on the appointment procedures of recommended personnel;

o   Coordinates with JFO HR on final tranches list, written exams and interview board settings;

o   Prepares and updates the recruitment reports and rosters on a regular basis to include planned tests and interviews, establishment of incumbent profiles, analyses of statistical information and establishment of shortlists;

o   Contacts applicants and candidates, responds to queries, and arranges appointments for interview boards and tests;

o   Updates status of open recruitment processes and expected finalization date;

Ø    Follows on the periodic performance evaluations for MD staff;

Ø    Monitors and overseas new staff induction plans and prepare update report on status;
Ø    In coordination with CFMP and AO, prepares the annual staff training plans.
Ø    Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·  A University degree in Business Administration, human Resources, or any related discipline;
·  At least, four years’ experience in Human Resources and administrative work;
·  Good command  of written and spoken English and Arabic
Competencies
·         Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
·         Attention to detail;
·         Excellent computer skills, especially in MS application used in the Agency, such as Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook;
·         Ability to take initiative and work in a logical and accurate manner;
·         Ability to work under pressure.

·         Possession of a valid driving license is required, as the incumbent of this post is required to travel frequently in the field in performance of his/her duties;

EQUIVALENCY
