Information Security Officer
Summary
MadfooatCom is looking for a passionate and results-oriented Information Security Officer to join the team. As a key member of the Information Security team, you will help in create, design and enforce information security policies and procedures that protect our organization from breaches, attacks, data leakage, …etc.
Job Requirements
- Safeguards information systems by reviewing access rights, systems logs, security devices logs, firewall configurations, …etc.
- Preventing data breaches by monitoring SOC Alerts and close the tickets
- Monitor and review overall physical & logical security of IT Facilities.
- Monitor the network and IT Admin Activities
- Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Participate in testing and implementing disaster recovery plan/business continuity plan
- Participate in performing new Information Security Projects
- Assist Internal and External IT Auditors, review the report, and participate in closing the audit points
- Participate in the ISO27001 Requirements
- Participate in delivering Information/ Cyber Security awareness to business units
- Participate and follow up on the Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and addressing information security incidents
- Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic reviews.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, MIS or engineering
- 2-4 Years of Experience in an Information Security / IT security role.
- Professional information security certification is a plus (Security +, ISO27001 LI, CEH)
- Good knowledge of various information security frameworks
- IT Infrastructure knowledge
- Ability to understand hardware and software systems
