Claims Assistant

Job Announcement - Claims Assistant   Job Announcement    Jordan Paramedic Society (JPS) is a local, non-governmental organization, founded in Jordan 2012 on the basis of serving, supporting, and motivating the surrounding community and the MENA region.  JPS aims to provide high quality healthcare to the disadvantaged and the vulnerable as well as to spread awareness on healthy living, disease prevention & first aid.   Task and Responsibilities:
Ensures that medical claims, medical records and other documentation essential to the healthcare provider follow JPS agreement. 
Ensures record accuracy, follows up, and makes necessary revisions
Processes changes in information system to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.
Checking eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.
Reviews and verifies medical bills and invoices (Lab. Tests, X-rays, Medications, Medical disposables, Doctor Fees...etc.) for accuracy of pricing, and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
Calling hospitals regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
Other tasks
Carries out any other duties that may reasonably or exceptionally be required to ensure the smooth operation of JPS Project work.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor degree (Good and above) in a qualified medical field like a Pharmacy or Nursing .
At least 3 years working experience in hospitals or health insurance – TPA.
Familiar with software.
English reading, writing and speaking skills (highly desirable). 
Able to carry out his/her work in an organized manner.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Announcement

JPS aims to provide high quality healthcare to the disadvantaged and the vulnerable as well as to spread awareness on healthy living, disease prevention & first aid.

ROLE SUMMARY
HR Assistant will assist the HR Officer in carrying out administrative work and preparing and updating documents for delivering HR services, in line with the JPS and delegation’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations


TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides general HR and administrative support (updating staff files and contracts, handling correspondence, registration and filing, etc.)
Provides administrative follow-up for recruitment and training activities.
Carries out procedures related to local HR practice, taxes and social security.
Providing new hire orientation.
assist the recruitment, testing and selection process for the jobs.
Prepare the summary of the interview results to be shared with the interview panel.
Through collaboration with HR Officer, assist in the development of staffing and recruitment plan ensure that each team is staffed appropriately according to need and funding availability, in an efficient and timely manner.
Ensure staff hiring is executed efficiently and in compliance with JPS policy and national Labor law.
Ensure a transparent, timely and efficient recruitment processes
Ensure that pre-employment requirements are submitted and a personnel file with documentation according to HR checklist is opened for new staff on a timely basis
Ensures the proper and accurate tracking of leaves and Timesheet management processes.
Ensure proper management of Staff Benefits including updating of tracking databases for medical insurance and other benefits applicable from time to time.
Ensure the timely processing of new contract, contract extension, staff transfer, promotions, acting capacity.
Manage processes related to disciplinary actions, staff separation, termination, including liaising with the Ministry of labor.
Receive and follow up on Field Office and project related HR documents (time sheets, contracts, etc.) and maintain an organized and efficient filing system.
Perform other relevant tasks assigned


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree in management or any related field.
In-depth experience in HR and knowledge of donor regulations and national Law.
At least 3 years of experience in the same position (HR Assistant(
Good knowledge of local labor law and Social security.
Ability to work under pressure, being self-motivated and detail-oriented.
Good command (written and spoken) of English.
Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
