Project Tarjim LLC is looking to hire a Senior Translator.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage the translation and interpretation (T&I) teams.
2. Carry out translation tasks from Arabic to English and vice versa
in a timely manner for various fields of translation ( Legal, Business, Technical…)
3. Interpretation from Arabic to English and vice versa.
4. Review translations, done by other translators.
5. Assume responsibility for proofreading and approving English/Arabic
material for printing and publishing.
6. Manage projects and priorities, negotiate deadlines.
7. Contribute to developing and coaching other translators in a less
senior role.
8. Assist in the recruitment process when needed.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Translation, literature, or any related field.
2. Translation experience of 4-7 years minimum.
3. Sense of urgency, ability to juggle priorities, work under
pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
5. Management experience at least 2 years.
6. Proficiency in computing skills and cat tools is a plus.
7. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
