Information Technology Project Manager
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the digitizing initiatives within all departments, planning of technology projects, managing our team of IT professionals, the execution of all technology-related tasks and initiatives. The successful candidate will also be the liaison with technology providers.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate information technologies into the company for optimal effectiveness
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
- Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success
- Develop a renewal and upgrade schedule for company software programs
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments
- Participate in recruitment, orientation and ongoing training of new IT staff
- Supervise and direct IT personnel
- Coordinate project schedules
- Assist with expense planning
- Identify and resolve technical challenges
- Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures and standards.
- Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- PMP Certificate is a plus
Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience as an IT professional
- 3+ years’ experience as an IT project manager
- Understanding of software development life cycle
