Network Systems Administrator(telecom AV Display)- TS/SCI Clearance required
Required Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- Please be aware that this position requires a security clearance, or the ability to obtain one. Security clearances may only be granted to U. S citizens. In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Associates Degree in Information Technology (3 years experience as a telecommunications administrator, A/V FSR, network admin or system admin can substitute for the Associates degree)
- InfoCOMM Certified Technology Specialists (CTS) within 180 days of deployment.
- Possess a valid and current U. S. Passport and Driver s License.
- 100% Travel required
- Must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment, including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor, and chemical/biological protective garments.
- Medically/Physically fit for deployment with U. S. Military Forces Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) under the provisions of USCENTCOM Medical Standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior military experience and/or experience supporting Military Forces in Iraq, Jordan, Afghanistan, and/or Djibouti.
- Experience with Cisco Telepresence Management System (TMS).
- InfoComm CTS-I or InfoComm CTS-D.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA (Collaboration).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP (Collaboration).
- Experience with CineMassive and/or Cyviz Video Display Systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining multi-media walls and video teleconferencing systems in operational command centers, situational awareness rooms, conference rooms, and office spaces. Candidate can function autonomously, follow policies and procedures, be resourceful, self-motivated and self-manage. Performs under pressure and applies critical thinking in problem solving. Is professional, reliable, and punctual. Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of multi-media and video teleconferencing systems. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of audio and video hardware and software. May propose solutions to management to ensure customer requirements for current and future needs are addressed. - Provides regular monitoring and system analysis regarding short and long-range planning for systems.
- Schedules, monitors, and maintains classified Video Teleconferences.
- Applies patches and upgrades to the systems as needed.
- Prepares or ensures that appropriate system documentation exists, including operational instructions.
- May coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment.
- May design systems or portion of systems that includes selection of hardware and software packages.
- Monitors system performance using software monitoring tools.
- Operates and maintains large high definition video walls.
- Conduct Site Surveys for multi-media walls and video teleconferencing systems
