Supply Chain Manager


We are looking to hire Supply Chain manager to manage the activities and daily operations of planning procurement and logistic. Proactively pursues continual improvement opportunities in the planning and distribution environment and quickly implements remedies to issues that might prevent meeting or exceeding performance goals. Establishes and implements strategic concepts which increase overall company profitability.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Comply with laws and regulations

Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations within limit stage that Logistic dep. are  responsibility in managing the orders delivery – Transportation.

Ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities

Plans, designs, prioritizes, and implements initiatives that result in continual improvement of customer satisfaction, operations efficiency, and profitability.

Hires, coaches and directs the efforts of direct reports to develop and implement plans to continually evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of their areas of responsibility. Use the results of these assessments to improve departmental and Plan and track the shipment of final products according to the company requirements.

Prepare accurate reports for upper management, which related to shipping activities.

Selects cost efficient and reliable mode of transportation, including the choice of forwarder, shipping line that guarantee a safe and quick transportation.

Qualifications and Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in the supply chain, Biomedical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, logistics, business, or related field.

11+ years of experience working in logistics and procurement as a manager or Supervisor.

Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, assess priorities, and manage multiple activities with attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines under pressure.

Proactive & positive team player

Excellent communication and computer skills

Very good Knowledge in Iraqi Market

Highly proficient in Microsoft office and experience with ERP/SAP system

LOGISTIC PROCUREMENT SKILLS


Strategy Development and Implementation.

Strong negotiation skills (Commercial and contractual)

Management skills for cost savings (including network planning, risk assessment)

Commercial skills for decision making

Finance skills to be able to provide input on inflation impacts

Partnering with Suppliers to win.
