Development Team Lead
Job Description:
We are looking for an Development Team Lead that will be able to develop and support existing applications. The main scope of work will include everything from back-end to client-side, using optimal and efficient technologies, frameworks, and patterns. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications. Therefore, it’s essential that you are skilled at problem solving, solution design, and high-quality coding.
Responsibilities:
Handling e-learning and LMS applications.
Delivering a high-quality application.
Ensuring a required level of performance.
Writing test-backed server-side code.
Supporting and fixing existing functionality.
Selecting and using the most appropriate and efficient technologies for a particular application.
Designing and building application layers.
Develop system and data integration capabilities between Learning Management System and other data systems.
Assist the technical team in developing the same.
Manage technical and functional day-to-day operational aspects of the Learning Management System.
Learning Management System administration and development coordination.
Coordinate system and content development.
Communicate technical limitations and requirements to instructional design teams.
Communicate instructional design requirements and goals to technical consultants.
Research and plan for new technologies
Troubleshoot technical issues with websites, servers, code, and software.
Manage code repositories.
Support and contribute to system and content design.
Collaborate with technology staff.
Work closely with senior leadership to develop business technology plan, including network security/technology policies, and establish hardware/ software roadmap.
Skills:
Proficiency in C# , VB.net is Plus.
Experience using .NET , windows forms and web application.
Understanding of HTML/HTML 5, JS, and CSS, JQuery and bootstrap.
Experience in developing ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC - CORE
Proficient knowledge in MSSQL.
IIS configuration.
RDLC reports, Crystal reports and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
Strong background in object oriented development techniques
Restfull API and Experience with Web Services, WCF and Service Oriented Architecture a plus.
Learning management system administration and coordination, e.g., Moodle SCORM/AICC

Preferred Skills:

Experience using screen capture programs such as Screenflow or Camtasia
Experience with Agile software development
Experience with bug tracking and project documentation (JIRA, Trac, Bugzilla)
Experience with audio and video editing
Additional Information:
There will be a pre-screening of all applicant credentials. Interviews will be limited to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the basic requirements, have experiences and education that most closely match the position qualifications and the needs of the LMS system.
