تعلن المنظمة الدولية للهجرة عن حاجتها الى :

Logistic Assistant

*** Open to Internal & External Candidates  ***



Core Functions / Responsibilities:

1.       Processes logistics requests from programmes and ensures follow-up action completed.

2.       Assist monitoring the day-to-day office and logistical movements performed by the Office Helpers or Laborers.

3.       Prepare loading and offloading plans, and monitor the process goes according to planned. Submit Purchase Request Form (PRF) for the number of trucks and laborers required. Ensure standard Waybills or Good Receiving/Delivery Notes are duly complete.

4.       Check and verify all incoming and outgoing goods, to and from the Office of Procurement & Logistics and storages, as stipulated in the Purchase Order or Delivery/Release Order.

5.       Assist monitoring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems of the storages are functioning, and that all relevant records are properly maintained.

6.       Carry out regular physical count/inventory of the storages.

7.       Maintain the stock level of drinking water, office supplies, stationaries and toners. Prepare PRF when the stock level reached the minimum order level.

8.       Assist the yearly physical inventory check.

9.       Making hotel reservation for IOM staffs, guests and events

10.    Maintains appropriate filing of logistics documents and storage stock cards.

11.   Checks all invoices for logistics services, office utilities and communication bills; verify, summarize and submit invoices to the supervisor for certification and approval

12.   Perform other related duties as may be required

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education & Experience

University degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Management, or any related field from an accredited academic institution with two (2) years of relevant professional experience as procurement/logistics.

OR

Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution with four (4) years of directly relevant professional experience.

 

Skills

 

·         Work experience from a multicultural organization or diplomatic mission an advantage.

·         Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office applications.

·         Commitment, efficiency, self-motivation, creative thinking and strong organizational skills.

·         Flexibility, diplomacy, and good customer relations.

·         Ability   to   work   effectively   and harmoniously   with   colleagues from   varied cultures and professional backgrounds.

·         Ability to draft official documentation in Arabic and English

·         Detail oriented individual with the ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.

Languages

Fluency in English language and Arabic language is required.
