Agriculture Materials Company (Miqdadi) Jordan is looking for General Manager based on the following details:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop the company strategic and operational plans to ensure steady and continual growth of the company.
• Oversee the execution the business plan and follow up on the achievements.
• Organize and control all operations in a manner which effectively delivers plans and business outcomes.
• Contact new and existing key customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by the company.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Supervise price and credit terms setting; determine discount policy and customers’ purchasing limits.
• Monitor the stock levels of products in the warehouse to meet the business needs.
• Review and place purchase orders and follow up correspondences with the suppliers.
• Notify suppliers with any technical or logistical issues related to the products.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Submit regular reports to the Regional Manager regarding sales performance.
• Develop and oversee the annual operating budget
• Manage expenses in compliance with the annual budget.
• Monitor customers’ accounts and collection process.
• Ensure all company sections are properly staffed and well equipped to perform duties effectively.
• Recruit, train and evaluate staff.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to subordinates
• Attend conferences and keep up to date on latest industry development.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Agricultural Engineering.
• 10 years’ experience in administration and management.
• Strong leadership. (Experience in leading diverse teams).
• Strong strategic planning.
• Negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of Inventory Management System.
• Ability to identify market requirements
• Pro-active decision-making.
• Some domestic and international travel is required.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Fluency in English language.
• Computer literacy.
