Decapolis is looking for software engineers to join their development team. If you are interested in joining a startup aiming to take the supply chain industry to a whole new level, Decapolis is the company you should be looking for.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining current codebase, by developing new features and debugging existing issues.
- Designing and developing new system components.
- Writing and maintaining development and deployment scripts.
- Performing code reviews for code contributed by team members.
- Writing unit tests for current and new features.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technical related field (Computer science, engineering, software development)
- 3-5 Years of software development experience.
Solid experience and understanding of:
- Python and any of its web frameworks (Django preferable)
- REST API development experience
- JavaScript, currently we only use bootstrap, but we plan on moving to a more advanced framework (React or Angular)
- Relational and non-relational Databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD (Git and Jenkins)
- Experience working on Linux development environments.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
