Security awareness training is a formal process for educating employees about computer security. It is to educate employees about corporate policies and procedures for working with information technology
As a Security Awareness Officer, you will be responsible for security awareness and education program, with main role of reducing risk to our Customers organizations by ensuring all employees, staff and contractors know, understand and follow the security requirements and behave in a secure manner.
Skills and job requirements:
- Ability to form on ‘communications & messages’ in a simple, clear and concise manner to the various communities within the organization. This will include different cultures, nationalities, international locations and languages.
- Soft project management skills, the ability to plan, manage and maintain a complex, organization wide program over the longer term.
- Display practical knowledge of different message distribution techniques to ensure end user communities understand and continually apply the required behavioral change necessary to reduce the ‘human factors’ risk.
- Ability to communicate with and coordinate the activities of others.
- Understanding of the concepts of information risks and the different elements that make up risk.
- To have at a minimum a basic understanding of the different concepts of information security.
- Preferable 2 - 3 years knowledge in Cyber/Info Security
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Bachelor degree related to computer and/or Communications
