Saraya Aqaba Waterpark

1- Retail Team Leader

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our new waterpark in Saraya Aqaba, Jordan. The Retail Team Leader, will supervise the daily outlet operations by effectively managing all front line colleagues. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and pleasant work environment for both guests and colleagues.


Your scope of work will also include:

  • Ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are being adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring that policies, procedures and performance standards that are in place in the department are being adhered to
  • Ensuring a clean and safe operating environment and raise any defects to their managers attention
  • Conducting communication briefings as required
  • Ensuring all departmental checklists i.e. opening and closing checklists are being consistently completed, any required follow-up action is initiated and forms/records are being filed appropriately
  • Dealing with any internal or external customer requests and issues that are beyond the scope of their front line colleagues
  • Improving the existing sales strategies to boost sales in the department
  • Handling minor complaints of the guests as well as their line colleagues
  • Monitoring and updating files
  • Supervising opening and closing of the stores at appropriate times
  • Assisting in scheduled stock take, outside revenue generating events
  • Assisting in investigation for possible cash variance of the team on a daily basis
  • Arranging and maintaining product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take product inventory
  • Coordinating the transfer of items from warehouse to outlets by preparing department order in a timely manner ensuring that each outlet has enough stocks for trade at any given time
  • Posting internal requisitions, transfer items through EATEC system
  • Sorting and posting damage items
  • Conducting scheduled spot check and physical inventory
  • Any other related duties as assigned by the department
 

 

Qualifications

 

As an ideal candidate, you will need to have:

  • Higher secondary education or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role in a retail environment
  • Experience in working with EATEC
  • Good supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Good spoken and written English skills
  • Knowledge in MS Office

2- Guest Service Representative

The ideal candidate for this position will help us to enhance the guest memorable experience . Parks hosts have a wide and varied role across multiple disciplines requiring extensive park knowledge, use the appropriate tone of voice when engaging with guests while ensuring the park remains clean and safe at all times. 

 

Guest experience:

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome
  • Answer queries relating to ticket price, opening hours, offers & promotions etc.
  • Ensure guest are aware of, or know where to find, any information on current safety guidelines
  • Maintain a safe & secure environment, ensuring all guests follow any guidelines in place at the time (e.g. social distancing)
  • When required, support guest entry to the park is in accordance with policy and procedure 
  • Offer guests guidance in locating park facilities 


Park Cleanliness 

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including but not limited to surface cleaning, mopping & dusting all areas of the park. 
  • Support the waste management concept of Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
  • Correct use of chemical solutions when carrying out cleaning tasks
  • Follow policies / procedures / SOPs on the safe use & storage of cleaning chemicals & cleaning equipment


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 0 - 1 year experience in a guest service role with experience in the hospitality/leisure industry
  • Good command of English language in speech and writing
  • Good health condition (as manual lifting may be required from time to time)
  • Cleaning/ housekeeping skills
  • Customer Relations/ Guest Services skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability and genuine willingness to assist / engage Guests
