EFS Jordan is looking for an experienced Accountant to join it's team to provide a professional and effective accountancy service to the finance department.
Responsibilities / Duties:
• Month End closing process.
• Manage agreed budget to deliver the defined service activities. Report any financial exceptions and other information as required.
• Prepare accounts and reconcile balance sheets. Overseeing budgetary control and monitor cash flow.
• Discussing P&L with Project Managers.
• Review of Projects and Cost savings actions/plans to be suggested.
• Managing Payables and liaising with Treasury for payment plan.
• Liaising with Auditors.
• Assist in monthly closing of accounts.
• Ensure preparation of complete and accurate month- end closing schedules and KPI related to payables and accrual accounts (both balance sheet and profit and loss account).
• Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labor law.
Education / Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or commercial or equivalent qualification.
• CA qualified will be an advantage.
Knowledge of JD Edwards is an advantage, however training will be provided.
Experience:
• Fresh graduates to 1 years’ experience in a similar role.

• IT skills including Excel (intermediate/advanced), Word, Access and PowerPoint (Basic).
