Senior Design Architect
Key Tasks:
- Advise and guide design teams to ensure consistent and high-quality design throughout project development.
- Review document technical requirements, development, and project plans to ensure adherence to defined standards and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge throughout the design staff.
- Reviewing and managing and tracking projects to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Designing architectural and engineering plans.
- Manage the design delivery for projects inside the team.
- Be client and delivery focused and provide experienced backed advice to our clients.
- Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients.
- Propose design options to meet the Client satisfaction.
- Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations as well as local authorities.
- Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
- Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
- Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
- Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
- Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
- Prepare and provide input and peer review for technical reports.
- Prepare for regular project team meetings pertaining to project tasks, deliverables, and milestones.
- Communicate directly with Client agents, subcontractors, and architects.
- Lead the design process and define all design requirements.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing and learning opportunities including a focus on emerging technologies and Digital Engineering.
- Networking and consulting with various industry professionals.
Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks:
- Be an inspiration leader by strong principles and commitment to the organization based on organization, resilience and agility.
- Sponsor and disseminate an R&D and innovation culture across the department, defining a climate for overall success.
- Identify and establish new opportunities for BIM/Projects execution, in alignment with the line managers and following company’s strategy.
- Lead, maintain and monitor the task management systems for his subordinates, in collaboration with projects controls.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design, or similar.
MA Degree in architecture or design might be preferable.
Software Literacy: Design tools and software MS Office Suite, MS Project
Experience: 7-10 years in design field .
