HR Volunteer
The Opportunity
A voluntary agreement is an opportunity for an individual to utilize her/his skills for the good cause and has an exposure to develop at work. The Human Resources department supports the end-to-end life cycle of our employees at Save the Children. We are committed to ensure high employee satisfaction and a great place to work, while achieving the organization's vision and mission. The HR Volunteer position is a part- time position for individuals with an eagerness to learn the basics of human resource management.
Key areas of accountability:
* Scanning & Filing HR Documents.
* Follow up on the missing personal documentations from the staff personal files.
* Update staff records on Oracle system when needed.
* Update HR trackers
* Assist in preparing and following up on consultancy payments
* Issue all related paperwork and follow up on reference checks for all new employees
* Assist in recruitment process
* Any other tasks assigned by the HR Officer.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
* From 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field
* High level of both spoken and written English.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Excellent attention to details. Patient, adaptable, flexible and able to improvise and remain responsive.
* Good communication skills (written and spoken), and good interpersonal skills.
