Reporting To: Decoration Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Understand and live THE One Core Values and is able to display the Core Values with internal and external customers.
· Know, understand and apply the requirements of the Decoration Manual and the Common Sense Guide to Handmade Stores.
· Plan, implement and maintain all changes directed by THE Office Decoration Department.
· Ensure Room Sets and Studios are maintained as per the Decoration Standards.
· Follow up to ensure the Sales Consultants are maintaining the Room Sets and Studios as per the photos.
· Maintain Decoration Standards through directing, motivating, coaching and training as well as assisting the Sales Team.
· Seasonal Change and Events are planned in advance, communicated and discussed with the Decoration Manager.
· Knowledge with which to support Sales Consultants in maximizing Sales by maintaining the Store “Look and Feel”.
· Conduct daily floor walk with the Decoration Manager to ensure the Decoration Standards are maintained as required.
· Attend The Morning Huddle and daily briefings with the Decoration department.
· Attend and participate in all weekly meetings as per the “Weekly Meeting Schedule”.
· Actively participate in all Store discussions and offer suggestions and ideas to improve the “Look” and “Feel”.
· Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are completed accurately and processed as required.
· Maintain a clean and tidy Store by practicing a “clean as you go” manner of work practice and taking full responsibility for each and every action during a task or project.
· Check to ensure all electrical wiring and appliances are installed correctly and present no risk of fire.
· Take part in and encourage team work, creating a fun and productive working environment, which celebrates both team and individual success.
· In the absence of a Decoration Manager, you may be required to take the leadership role under the support of the Store Manager.
· Maintain Health and Safety measures on a regular basis and in particular during re-decoration where major work is being conducted. Correct safety clothing is worn, tools are handled in the correct manner and are never left unattended.
· Maintain an awareness of market trends, fashion, local and international competition, taking a proactive approach to keep the company as market leaders in home fashion image and display.
· Assist in the development of Visual Merchandisers.
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of B.A degree in an interior design or Architectural Engineering
• Experience from 1-2 year.
• Female only.
• Communication skills.
• Attention to details.
• Able to work fast and multitask.
