Social Media Executive
Job Description
- Execute the defined social content strategy for Aramex, both for B2B and B2C, in all markets together with the central team
- Support the Content Strategist and Global Social Media Manager on defining and executing a roadmap of strategic localized content to help achieve the defined business goals
- Brainstorm social content that is relevant and engaging and be the go-to person any other tasks required for Social
- Provide the creative team with insights helping make our social content as relevant and engaging as possible
- Draft creative briefs and ensure all information needed is included before sharing with the team
- Stay up to date with the latest technology, trends and best practices in social media
- Reporting: research competitors, present and share ideas, results and gap analyses on social
- Design, prioritise and execute specific activities and social campaigns with the support of the central marketing team
- Research influencers and brief agencies on upcoming campaigns
- Ensure that our Arabic copy and tone is spot on
- Give strategic and creative input during prep phase of social campaigns
- Recommendations to central marketing and product teams for content improvements
- Regularly re-visit our on-going strategy on social
- Manage 3rd party relationships with content agencies + influencers
Job Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of social media and what makes good content great, so our followers engage with the Aramex brand to the max
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Creative ideas and you excel working as a team
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good all-round understanding of marketing, content, partnerships, events + influencers
- At least 2+ years in social media and content creation
- Degree in marketing, digital technologies or similar relevant field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Arabic
