JOB TITLE: Decoration Manager
Reporting To: store Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Understand and live THE One Core Values and is able to display the Core Values with internal and external customers.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the Decoration Manual and the Common Sense Guide to Handmade Stores.
• Maintain the “Look and Feel” of the Store. Train, coach and develop the Decoration Team to maintain the Decoration Standards.
• Plan, implement, maintain and follow all changes directed by THE Office Decoration Department.
• Provide training to the Sales Team when required to ensure all necessary tasks such as maintaining of Studios, Room Sets, Coordination Tables and Wall Racks are properly stocked and presented as per the Decoration Standards.
• Conduct full daily floor walk with the Decoration Team of all display areas, taking action to rectify any issues in order to maintain the Store.
• Conduct Store Tour with the Store Manager and the Sales Manager once a week every Sunday after the Management Meeting to identify opportunities, discuss areas of concern and work on an action plan to address the tasks required.
• Attend The Morning Huddle and cascade the relevant information to the Team.
• Ensure the “Weekly Meeting Schedule” is followed and share the information from the Sunday Times with the Team.
• Work with THE Office Decoration Department to ensure all communications are clearly received and shared with the Decoration Team.
• Ensure the Store is ready for the weekend by Thursday.
• Schedule the Decoration Team to service the Store, including evenings if required.
• Implement and maintain a clean and tidy Store by practicing „clean as you go” manner of work.
• Where a Boutique is attached to the Store, the number of days of work in a Boutique will depend
On the need of the business, however at a minimum one full day must be spent in the Boutique per week.
• Health, Safety and Security measures are reviewed and implemented especially during re-decoration or when major work is conducted. Report any areas of concern to the Store Manager and follow up.
• Ensure all electrical wiring and appliances are installed correctly to prevent the risk of fire.
• Provide THE Office Decoration Manager and the Store Manager by Thursday afternoon a full report using the “Weekly Store Decoration Report” template.
• Clear, specific goals must be written for each member of the Decoration Team for the year.
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of B.A degree in an interior design or Architectural Engineering
• Experience from 4-5 year.
• Female only.
• Communication skills.
• Attention to details.
• Able to work fast and multitask.
