A financial company in Amman-Jordan is seeking Cyber Security Specialist with the following responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities
• Supervise the development of the cybersecurity program and policy, ensuring their implementation, and constantly reviewing and updating them
• Continuously reviewing the effectiveness of the protection controls adopted in the company’s cybersecurity process
• Evaluate the adequacy and efficiency of the cybersecurity program and policy
• Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits
• Upgrade our network and infrastructure systems
• Implement and maintain security controls
• Identify, assess, and solve potential and actual security problems, in addition to cyber security risks etc.
• Assess the current situation, evaluating trends and anticipating security requirements
• Keep users informed by preparing performance reports, communicating system status
• Submit semi-annual reports regarding cyber security in the company
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Coordinate with various security stakeholders
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role
• Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data and other attack artifacts
• Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions
• Proficiency with antivirus and security software
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
Candidates with following Certifications are preferred:
• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security (CCNA-Security)
