Position: Training Manager

The main objective:

The Training Manager will identify and monitor training programs in the organization, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. The Training Manager is also responsible for improving the training programs material, assesses developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies suitable training solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide the General Manager with weekly reports and progress concerning Training activities, budgets, and planning.
- Assist to establish training services for external clients, prepare training plans, strategize and build training teams.
- Ensure that BDC’s training procedures are part of an effective system, and that the implementation supports the organizations and objectives.
- Put together a suite of training programs, on different development topics.
- Provide training support for the organization’s advisory services, and other services as required. This includes taking on a lead role in marketing these training courses to the target market.
- Design and conduct training courses, and deploy the training team.
- Ensure proper press coverage with appropriate image, marketing material and press releases.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the BDC’s database of trainers.
- Effectively coordinate with project managers and staff, and set expectations, performance, monitoring and evaluation of all training schedules and activities for the project component.
- Coordinate with, and support, experts from all firm services to provide tailor-made, client-specific training sessions and workshops.
- Provide project management support on any training assignments as required.
- Supervise with trainers and supervisors to ensure that all training organizational and logistics needs (such as payment, contracts, stationary, transportation . etc.) are met.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for training department employees Reviews existing training programs.
- Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization.

Skills & Experience:  
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Development, or any related field.
- Minimum of (7-10) years of progressively responsible and relevant professional experience in training
- (Fluent) English and Arabic proficiency for both oral and written communication is required.
- Thorough understanding of training processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to draft reports.
- Strong computer skills in specialized software, including Windows and the Microsoft Office
