External Affairs Officer

What This Position Is About - Purpose

As External Affairs Associate you will be a member of the CA&C team. Together, you will develop and maintain close and constructive relationships with JTI Jordan stakeholders. You will work closely with the CA&C Director and Government Relations Manager to ensure external affairs are in order.

What Will You Do – Responsibilities

• Work closely with the CA&C Director to ensure Jordan's corporate communications strategy objectives are met
• Support CA&C Team in their external engagement activities with government and business stakeholders to ensure business continuity
• Follow up and expedite government approvals and necessary paperwork to ensure timely delivery of business aspects
• Monitor and report on economic and business related developments in the country 
• Assist with preparations and delivery of stakeholder meetings and official internal and external visits

Who Are We Looking For – Requirements

• Bachelors degree 
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Fluent in Arabic is necessary with good English
• Excellent communication skills and relationship building ability
• Knowledge of the business and economic environment in Jordan
• MS Office proficiency
