A Night Shift Supervisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our food production team as a Night Shift Supervisor. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience managing a team in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the night shift production team and coordinating with the maintenance department to address any issues with the machines. You will report to the Production Manager and work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the night shift production team, providing guidance and direction, and evaluating team performance.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any issues with the machines and ensure they are running smoothly.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and other team members to identify and implement improvements to production processes.
- Monitor production metrics and track progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, with at least 1 year of experience managing a team in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work the night shift.
